Citywire New Model Adviser held its prestigious 2024 awards ceremony at London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel on 1 and 2 February. And HA&W were there to take in the atmosphere and hopefully leave with a prize!
Nominated in the regional Best Adviser West Midlands category, we faced some stiff competition.
But we’re delighted and proud to say that we were successful, winning our category. This is great news for us, but also for you, highlighting that your money is in safe hands.

Strict criteria and stiff competition meant a win was hard-earned
At HA&W we’re very proud of the service we offer you, our clients. And it’s great when our ethos is acknowledged by those in the profession.
The Citywire New Model Adviser awards are highly esteemed and that meant some tough competition.
But after a busy 2023, and with huge plans in the pipeline for 2024, we were able to cap off a difficult year with a huge victory.
Here’s what Alasdair had to say about the win.

“For the business, we’ve got a big year ahead. We’re about to start a rebrand, we’re taking on new graduates. We’re trying to grow the business through young talent and bring up the next generation of planners.”
This is part of our pledge to nurture ongoing and meaningful relationships with our clients so that you be sure we’ll always be there when you need us.
For that reason, we’re going to stand still, but always look to evolve and change to provide the best possible service we can.
With Alasdair at the helm, HA&W’s future is bright, and despite an imminent rebrand, our culture and ethos will remain the same as it has always been.
