We are pleased to announce that Alasdair has just passed his final exam for the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. This means that he is now a Chartered Financial Planner, which is the top echelon in the financial services industry. This is a great achievement for someone who is 26 years of age.
As a result of this and the fact that Alasdair is now a shareholder in the business, we will be renaming the Company at some point in the summer to “Hunter Aitkenhead & Walker Ltd”.
Chartered status is a sign of an individual’s professionalism and commitment to the role. Voices such as Martin Lewis of moneysavingexpert.com and Paul Lewis of BBC Radio 4’s Moneybox recommend that individuals prioritise chartered status when looking for financial advice.
This continues the firm’s demonstration of our commitment to our clients, following our achievement of Corporate Chartered status in 2014.
