Sue at work
Sue helps the Financial Planners deal with the technical aspects of providing advice to our clients.
As a client, you will probably meet Sue at some point as she sits in on many client meetings.
In previous roles, Sue was a qualified financial adviser, so she has a deep understanding of the financial planning process.
Her role also includes researching solutions for clients, analysing financial models and writing reports.
Sue is a Member of the Personal Finance Society by examination and is currently studying to become a Chartered Financial Planner.
Sue at home
Sue is an older mum of two very active boys, age 9 and 10. Consequently, she spends quite a lot of time in sports halls and at tracks, and possibly even more time asking them to come off electronics.
Sue enjoys quality TV or radio drama, a good book, loves the calming effect of nature and, sorry, places without people!
She also volunteers as a Cub Scout Leader, going on camp this year for which the theme was Christmas – in May!
Sue in the spotlight
On an ideal weekend, you can find me:
With a little free time to spend however I wish! I do enjoy being outside, enjoying nature, away from the crowds.
When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:
Unfortunately, any dessert is a good dessert!
My favourite part of the day is:
Evening mealtime when the children tell me about their day.
In the film adaptation of my life, I hope to be played by:
Maxine Peake.
My proudest moment was:
Becoming a mum at nearly 43… and then again at nearly 44!
The three words my colleagues would use to describe me are:
Cheerful, helpful and funny (sometimes!)
I turn the radio up when they play:
‘Sailing By’ – the music from the shipping forecast.
My favourite holiday is:
For a family holiday – activities, for me – India.
