Laura at home

Laura lives in Charnwood with her husband Adam, and their toddler Oscar.

When she has spare time, Laura likes to keep fit, cycling, running and getting competitive on the fitness app, Strava. She also enjoys being outdoors, whether at Bradgate Park and Swithland Wood, or exploring the Cornish coast.

Laura’s other passion is food. She tries out new recipes and restaurants whenever she can.

Laura in the spotlight

On an ideal weekend, you can find me:

Daytime: With wellies on exploring the outdoors with my little one. Evening: With good food, wine and friends.

When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:

My spoon! To eat whatever my husband ordered.

My favourite part of the day is:

Snack time

In the film adaptation of my life, I hope to be played by:

Emma Watson, although she’s far too young!

My proudest moment was:

Successfully growing a little human and bringing them into the world.

The three words my colleagues would use to describe me are:

Efficient, approachable, and picky.

I turn the radio up when they play:

Just about anything; music is a big part of my day.

My favourite holiday is:

Travelling around Cornwall and Devon.

Finally, some important information

All regulated financial advisers must be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and therefore appear on their register. You can find Laura’s entry by clicking here.

Furthermore, all advisers must have an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). This shows they are suitably qualified and have carried out the required amount of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Again, consumers should be wary of any advisers who refuse to provide copies of their SPS. You can click here to view Laura’s.
