Here at Hunter, Aitkenhead & Walker, continued professional development is very important to us. And just last week Chartered Financial Planner Rob celebrated securing the most prestigious level of professional achievement in the world of financial planning; Fellowship with the Personal Finance Society (PFS).
Working to achieve Chartered status is often considered the gold standard in financial planning, fellowship is the natural next step for those wanting to further their professional development. With 350 exam credits required, 290 of which much be obtained through the completion of the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, it’s not a small task to undertake. Graduating on the 26th April 2019 is the accumulation of many hours of hard work for Rob and is the next step in his career.
Rob said, “I’m thrilled to become a Fellow of the PFS, it’s been hard work but more than worth it. The qualification is part of continuing to develop skills and ensuring we always work with best practices in mind for clients. Achieving Fellowship status is just the first step in the process, maintaining the level of professionalism and technical knowledge required to pass is just as important.”
For Rob, Fellowship status adds to his other professional development over his 30-year career, including being recognised as a Retirement Planning Specialist and Later Life Advice Specialist by the PFS. We’re sure that along with everyone at Hunter, Aitkenhead & Walker our clients will be congratulating Rob on the achievement.
