New Model Adviser has placed us in its “Top 100” list, recognising our commitment to providing our clients with outstanding service and clear advice.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Top 100. The prestigious awards champion those advice firms across the UK – regardless of size or money under assets – that are always striving to improve, educate, and deliver outstanding service.
Factors considered included our:
- Knowledge of the industry and level of qualifications
- Diligent use of technology
- Commitment to educating our clients
- Use of clear and understandable communication
- Investment recommendations.
“This award positions us as one of the leaders in the financial sector and highlights to our clients that we go the extra mile,” said Alasdair Walker, Chartered financial planner and managing director here at HA&W.
“We’re a growing team, always looking to improve and build,” Alasdair adds. “In the last 12 months we have hired a new Chartered financial planner and operations director, a trainee paraplanner, and we’re looking for a further technical administrator.”
The New Model Adviser judges were also quick to point out our continued commitment to professionalism. They noted that of our four Chartered financial planners, two have completed the CISI Level 7 CFP as it moves towards CISI accreditation.
They also acknowledged our efforts to help the wider community and the environment this year. You might already have read that Rob and Alasdair accepted the vaccination volunteer challenge and joined the fight against Covid this summer.
We have also completed a virtual fundraising challenge, raising over £3,000 for the local Loughborough food bank, and are looking to become more environmentally aware. We have recently installed solar panels and smart heating in our office, and our electric car charging point has been in place for four years, offering free charging for clients.
